Concerning his presidency of Best Practice Trainers for five years: “My participation in Best Practice Trainers, Inc. extended from our presentation of live workshops on CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Co-Occurring Disorders in New York City in 2013 to becoming President of the organization for five years. I now am very interested in the topic of support for Mental Health clinicians and have my own private practice. I’ve personally created several webinars, one on In-Home Mental Health Care, and one on Mental Health Evaluations for Immigrants, which has become a passion of mine. I enjoyed being President and part of the Board for BPTI from August, 2014 – 2019. As a result of the online platform, BPTI has trained hundreds of counselors in CBT and Motivational Interviewing methods, which I’m proud of. We’ve made decisions that have begun to expand our role as continuing education providers in New York to continuing education.”
